Chicago--In addition to Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories Inc.'s introduction of its Genesys Voice Portal for call centers (BtoB's Daily News Alert, Aug. 31), other announcements made at this week's International Call Center Management conference included the following: Banks & Dean announced a subscription-based predictive modeling software product; Alorica Inc. announced a new component to its Helix 2002 software that gives call center agents the ability to update customer information in real time; Vertical Networks released a customizable software suite that integrates multiple call centers; and eOn Communications debuted a "consultant liaison program" designed to help call center consultants define technology solutions for multimedia contact centers that incorporate voice, e-mail and Web-based communications.
