Canon U.S.A. announces sponsorship agreement with Madison Square Garden

Lake Success—Canon U.S.A. announced a sponsorship deal with Madison Square Garden, continuing a partnership that has lasted for nearly 20 years.

Under the new one-year agreement, the Canon logo will be displayed on a pair of dasher boards during all New York Rangers regular season and playoff home games.

In addition, Canon will present a 30-second feature called “A Moment in Rangers History” on the center scoreboard during 21 regular season home games.

”In today's competitive business landscape, it is critical to have strategic sponsorships and alliances where our company's brand is highly visible to key market segments,” said Bunji Yano, senior director-general manager of corporate communications at Canon U.S.A.

Financial terms of the sponsorship were not disclosed.
