Captivate expands programming

Chelmsford, Mass.—Captivate Network, an elevator content network aimed at business audiences, announced Monday that it has signed on BusinessWeek, Crain’s Chicago Business, Crain’s New York Business and Harvard Business Review as content partners.

The additions bring the total number of Captivate’s content partners to more than 100 in categories including news, health, entertainment, travel and business.

In addition, Captivate is expanding its local capabilities through a new product called “Local Link” that enables the company to deliver local messages, customized event listings and news. It has also launched a number of consumer blogs based on popular viewer topics, including the environment.
