Carat Interactive hires senior executives

San Francisco—Carat Interactive announced the hiring of Greg Pomaro as VP-group media director and Gordon Abel as director of marketing.

Pomaro was previously director of online media at Grey San Francisco. In his new position, he will oversee media operations and provide guidance for media planning; he will also be responsible for managing new and existing technology practices.

Abel was previously VP-interactive strategy and development at Euro RSCG Worldwide. In his new position, he will be responsible for driving national strategy and day-to-day management of Carat Interactive’s brand.
