Carat wins Hyundai Motor’s U.S. media buying business

London--Aegis’ Carat USA won the U.S. media buying and planning business for Hyundai Motor America and its sister company Kia Motors America, following a review. The combined business is estimated at $500 million, which includes both the dealer and factory sides of the account. The incumbent was Cordiant. Hyundai also announced it is putting its U.S. creative account up for review. Cordiant currently handles the account.
