Cardinal Health forms national sales network

Akron, Ohio -- Cardinal Health, the health care giant that recently merged with surgical glove maker Allegiance Corp., is creating a national sales organization. About 50 corporate sales executives will be involved in the new network. They will coordinate the specialized sales capabilities of Cardinal's subsidiaries in the surgical, medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory areas, the company said. John Hatcher, a 30-year veteran of medical sales and a corporate VP of Allegiance, was named corporate VP of Cardinal, in charge of the new organization, the company said.
