Published on .

Tuscaloosa, Ala.—Randally-Reilly Business Media & Information announced that its magazine Commercial Carrier Journal celebrates its 100th anniversary this month. The magazine, originally titled Commercial Car Journal, was first published on March 15, 1911.

“When CCJ started, the editorial debate was whether the motor truck could replace the horse and buggy for urban deliveries,” CCJ Editor Jeff Crissey said in a statement.

The magazine is marking its anniversary with a look back on the last 100 years in the trucking industry. The issue includes a list of the 100 most important regulations, innovations and events that have shaped the trucking industry.
