CEIR announces 2006 board and plans for merger with IAEM

Chicago—The Center for Exhibition Industry Research announced it has elected directors for 2006 and is proceeding with its plan to merge with the International Association for Exhibition Management.

David Korse, president of IDG World Expo Corp., was elected chairman for 2006. Korse succeeds Paul Dykstra, president-CEO of GES Exposition Services. Brian Tully, senior VP of the Food Marketing Institute, becomes vice chairman. Nancy Hasselback, president-CEO of Diversified Business Communications, was elected secretary-treasurer.

The CEIR and IAEM boards have agreed to finalize the legal documents for their merger.
