CEO Peeler exits CMR

Published on .

New York--David Peeler, formerly president-CEO of ad measurement company CMR, a division of TNS Media Intelligence, left the company last Friday. Steven Fredericks succeeds him. "This change was caused by differences that emerged in the last few weeks between TNS and this individual, and we decided it was preferable for him to leave," said Jean-Michel Portier, chairman of TNS Media Intelligence. Despite the top-level executive change, Portier said, "There will be no change in strategy." Peeler joined the company in June of 1995 and became president in June of 2000. Fredericks was previously president-CEO of JASSNet, an Internet program guide provider formerly known as Yack Inc.
