Cisco agrees to acquire WebLine Communications

San Jose, Calif.--Cisco Systems announced Wednesday that it has agreed to acquire privately held WebLine Communications, Burlington, Mass., in a stock deal valued at $325 million. WebLine provides customer relationship management software for Internet customer service and e-commerce. Cisco said the acquisition underlines its commitment to integrated data, voice and video and to providing an open software platform for enterprise and service provider clients.
