Cisco aims at mobile market with 'networks in motion'

New York--Cisco Systems Inc. Wednesday rolled out new wireless gear for what it calls "networks in motion," equipping truck drivers, police patrols and even tank commanders with constant data access. Cisco, one of the largest providers of Internet routers, said its new "Cisco Mobile Access Router" is designed to hop between different wireless networks invisibly, providing uninterrupted access to an organization's internal networks while on the move.
