Cisco to invest $1B in KPMG's Internet services

New York--Cisco Systems, San Jose, Calif., will invest more than $1 billion in KPMG L.L.P's Internet services business. The pact will lead to KPMG bringing aboard more than 4,000 engineers over the next 18 months. These consultants will implement Web-based data, video and voice services to companies brought in by Cisco's sales force. The areas to be focused on include telecommunications and enterprise markets throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
