Cisco names Christie CMO

San Jose, Calif.—Cisco Systems announced that Blair Christie has been appointed CMO-worldwide government affairs.

Christie was previously senior VP-global corporate communications. She succeeds Susan Bostrom, who is leaving Cisco after 14 years to pursue other opportunities.

In her new role, Christie will have overall responsibility for Cisco's central marketing organization and worldwide government affairs group, in addition to continuing to lead global corporate communications.
