Framingham, Mass.—Cisco Systems and Tektronix Inc. have received IDC’s CMO Best Practices Awards for marketing dashboard development.
The awards recognize technology companies that have done an outstanding job developing marketing "dashboards," or blueprints for marketing strategies.
Cisco was recognized for a marketing dashboard that included image and brand perception, lead generation, employee retention and customer satisfaction.
Tektronix was recognized for a marketing plan that included working with internal and external stakeholders to determine which metrics to include and how to validate the accuracy of the metrics.
"Marketing dashboard development is on the top of the ‘to-do’ list of virtually every major technology marketing organization," said Rich Vancil, VP of IDC’s CMO Advisory Research Service.
