Citigroup-State Street venture in b-to-b deal with 401kExchange

Boston--CitiStreet, the financial benefits firm jointly owned by Citigroup and State Street Corp., has entered a b-to-b deal with West Palm Beach, Fla.-based 401kExchange.com Inc., an information exchange aimed at brokerages, financial advisors and plan sponsors. CitiStreet will begin using 401kExchange's content and services, including research and online plan proposals. 401kExchange, launched in 1995, has acquired a reputation as a keen small business specialist. Small businesses are among the most lucrative-and elusive-demographics sought after by benefits providers.
