Clarus Corp. this week rolled out a series of product upgrades and partnerships at its user conference in Orlando. Atlanta-based Clarus makes software to enable e-procurement and e-marketplaces. This week, the vendor debuted ClarusNet, a re-branded and expanded version of its SupplierUniverse offering. ClarusNet offers a variety of value-added services that ``bolt-on'' to e-marketplaces, including payment, clearance, catalog management, auctioning, wireless and logistics services. The services will work with e-marketplace platforms both from Clarus as well as its competitors, such as Ariba or Commerce One. Clarus also changed the pricing for its e-marketplace offering, eliminating any recurring revenue sharing or transaction fees. Users will pay only license and professional development fees. Finally, Clarus rolled out partnerships with integration and technology companies, including Born Information Services Inc., Dynamis Solutions Inc., EssentialMarkets Inc., CrossTier.com Inc. and Ironside Technologies Inc.
