Click Forensics, which helps advertisers and agencies verify online audiences and ward off click-fraud activities, closed a third round of funding totaling $6 million. The infusion was led by Austin Ventures, with support from Sierra Ventures and Shasta Ventures. Stanford University also invested a small amount in the round.
Chango, based in Toronto, helps search marketers identify new prospects exposed to relevant display ads. The company completed its first venture financing round of $1.4 million from an investor syndicate that included iNovia Capital, Extreme Venture Partners and Metamorphic Ventures. Geoff Judge, co-founder of 24/7 Real Media, also participated in the funding and will join Chango's board.
