Clickable gains new funding, led by AmEx

New York—Advertising technology company Clickable Inc. has secured $12 million in a third round of financing, with business partner American Express Co. serving as lead investor. The company has raised a total of $32.5 million to date. AmEx was joined by existing investors FirstMark Capital, Founders Fund and Union Square Ventures, among others, in funding Clickable, whose technology allows advertisers to monitor and manage ads on search engines and social sites. Clickable has been working with AmEx over the past year on developing new products for the American Express OPEN service for small businesses, including YourBuzz, a free social media monitoring and local directory listing tool, and SearchManager, a paid search management tool.
