ClientLogic sells business unit to employee

Published on .

Nashville, Tenn.—ClientLogic, a business process outsourcing company and subsidiary of Onex Corp., has sold its list management, brokerage, compilation and insert media business to Lon Mandel, who had been CEO of the business unit for 20 years.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The unit has been renamed Specialists Marketing Services.

ClientLogic said the sale would allow it to focus on its core business process services: telephone contact centers and order fulfillment. The two companies will maintain a strategic relationship that includes serving mutual clients and cross-promoting each other’s services, ClientLogic said.
