Andover, Mass.--CMGI, owner of AdForce and Flycast Communications Corp. and an array of other Internet marketing companies, has launched @Ventures B2B Fund-a $1 billion fund for investing in developers of Internet business-to-business software, services and portals. Creation of the fund sparked unconfirmed reports that CMGI would purchase Internet advertising agency and ad server company 24/7 Media.
