CMO Council, Custom Publishing Council form alliance

New York—The Chief Marketing Officer Council and the Custom Publishing Council announced Thursday that they have formed an alliance to study return on investment for custom content.

Spending on custom content totaled $33 billion in 2008, according to the CPC. The two groups said they will develop the Content ROI Center, an interactive resource about print and digital custom content that will be housed on the CMO Council Web site.
