Manhasset, N.Y.--United Business Mediaâs CMP Media posted a 13.1% decline in ad pages (including discontinued titles) in September, compared with the same month last year, according to figures provided to the company by IMS: The Auditor. Tech advertising pages overall dipped 15.7%. Among CMP Mediaâs major titles, the lone bright spots was VAR Business,
which posted a 37.6% gain in ad pages for the month. The biggest drop-off occurred at Network Magazine,
which saw its ad pages decline 36.4%.
