Manhasset, N.Y.—CMP Media and CyberMedia Thursday launched a Web site covering global technology and business services sourcing.

The Web site offers information on subjects such as business process outsourcing, IT outsourcing, customer service and management of global operations.

On Wednesday CMP Media announced it has acquired the events assets of MediaLive International for $65 million. MediaLive’s events division runs more than 20 information technology and telecommunications events in the U.S. and Europe. United Business Media, which owns CMP, said in a news release that it expects the assets in the deal to generate about $40 million in revenue this year.

Also this week, CMP announced its purchase of Shorecliff Communications, which serves the RFID (radio frequency identification), IPTV (Internet protocol television), broadband and wireless infrastructure markets, for $12.3 million.
