CMP Media Electronics Group picks Atomic for PR

San Francisco—Atomic Public Relations announced Monday that it has been selected as PR agency of record by CMP Media Electronics Group.

Atomic said its role will be to help CMP communicate a realigned business strategy that integrates previously independent media properties, such as EE Times, the DesignLines portfolio of Web sites and the Embedded Systems Conferences. CMP Media also said it hopes to raise the profile of electronic engineers.

"Atomic’s mix of technology expertise and business, consumer and entertainment experience drove an interesting perspective on where technology, technologists and CMP Media’s Electronics Group fit into the wider business and cultural picture," said Paul Miller, Electronics Group VP-group publisher.
