CMP to publish Chinese version of ‘InformationWeek’

Manhasset, N.Y.—CMP Media will debut on Friday a version of InformationWeek for the professional market in China. The magazine will be published through a licensing arrangement with Morningside, which helps publish versions of Forbes and the Harvard Business Review in China. The monthly publication, which will be in simplified Chinese, will have a circulation of 75,000. In other news, Patricia Keefe has joined InformationWeek as senior managing editor. She will be based at the magazine’s Waltham, Mass., office.

Keefe spent the bulk of her 20 years in tech publishing at International Data Group’s Computerworld, where she was news editor, editor at large and editorial director.
