CMP unites enterprise IT properties

Manhasset, N.Y.—CMP Media, a unit of United Business Media, announced that it is uniting all of its products for business users of information technology in a single enterprise group under Senior VP-Group Publisher Fritz Nelson.

In this new role, Nelson will oversee the InformationWeek Media Network, the Network Computing Enterprise Architecture Group and all other products and services focused on the enterprise IT audience. Previously, Nelson was publisher of Network Computing and group publisher of the enterprise architecture group.

In other recent moves, InformationWeek named John Foley as editor. He will report to Editor in Chief Stephanie Stahl. The magazine promoted Chris Murphy to senior executive editor from executive editor. Additionally, Jon Graves was named VP-events for the enterprise group. Most recently, he was VP-business development for North America at Richmond Events.
