CMR: Online ad spending down 10% in first half

New York--Online ad spending dropped 10% in the first half of the year, compared with the first half of 2000, according to CMRi, the online division of Competitive Media Reporting, a Taylor Nelson Sofres company. CMRi reported Internet spending was roughly $1.5 billion in this year's first half, led by General Motors Corp., which spent $25.4 million during the period, according to CMRi. http://www.cmr.com
