CNet appoints new directors

San Francisco--CNet Networks announced Thursday the appointment of Betsey Nelson and Jarl Mohn to its board of directors, effective immediately. Nelson has served as exec VP-CFO of Macromedia since November 1997. She will serve as a member of CNet Networks' audit committee. Mohn, known during his radio days as Lee Masters, was the founding president of Liberty Digital, a publicly traded subsidiary of Liberty Media Group. He served as Liberty Digital's CEO from June 1999 to March 2002. CNet Networks also announced that Eric Hippeau, a managing partner of Softbank Capital Partners and the former chairman-CEO of Ziff-Davis, has retired from its board.
