New York—CNET Networks, the technology content Web network, is on the block, according to a report in the New York Post.
The story in Friday’s Post mentioned Viacom, InterActiveCorp, Yahoo! and AOL as potential suitors.
CNET’s shares closed Thursday at $11.74, up 10% from $10.64 at Wednesday’s close, on heavy volume of 10.3 million shares.
CNET is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary.
