CNET posts higher revenue

San Francisco—CNET Networks posted first-quarter revenue of $74.7 million, up from $63.4 million in the year-earlier period. Interactive revenue increased 23% to $68.5 million. Operating income before depreciation and amortization was $6.5 million, a 168% increase from the first quarter of 2004. Net income for this year’s first quarter was $383,000, down from $2.9 million a year earlier.
