CNN sales and marketing president retires

Atlanta--AOL-Time Warner’s Turner Broadcasting Sales Inc. announced Tuesday that Larry Goodman, 49, is retiring as president of CNN Sales and Marketing. Goodman has served as president of the CNN sales force since 1995. Greg D’Alba has been promoted to exec VP-COO of CNN Advertising Sales. In his new position, D’Alba will oversee all domestic cable and Web sales and marketing for the CNN portfolio of news networks and businesses, including CNN, CNN Headline News and CNN.com. Goodman will assist D’Alba, his former chief lieutenant, through a period of transition.
