Pleasanton, Calif.--Commerce One continues to partner with established e-vendor players. The company on Monday announced co-marketing and development deals with GE Exchange Services and Sterling Commerce. Both companies are leaders in providing e-business links over EDI networks, and both are expanding rapidly into e-commerce. A deal with Commerce One will help them win new marketplace business, while Commerce One will gain access to GE and Sterling's existing customer base. The deal follows similar ones with vendors such as SAP and PeopleSoft.
