Westchester, Ill.--E-marketplace operator turned supply chain enabler Commerx Inc. has found its new CEO. Former CEO Tim Stojka resigned from that post in October, staying on as chairman. At that time, the company elevated one of its internal managers, Jeff Garwood, to be interim CEO, and launched an external search for a full-time chief. But late last week it promoted yet another internal candidate, David O'Meara, formerly its VP-corporate development, to the CEO post. Prior to joining Commerx, O'Meara worked with electronic data interchange vendor Sterling Commerce. Commerx is perhaps best known for running the PlasticsNet Web site.
