Communications execs form marketing consultancy

Chicago--A group of corporate communications executives announced the launch of a marketing strategy consultancy called Beacon Advisors. The firm will be headquartered in Chicago, with offices in New York, Denver and Los Angeles. Its services will include investor relations and financial communications, corporate communications and positioning, and crisis and change management. Beacon Advisors managing partners are: James Hurley, who has served as an officer of California Federal Bank; Harry Englehart, a former Hill and Knowlton executive; Timothy Croasdaile, a former Bell & Howell executive; and Ralph Allen, a former ITT Industries executive.
