CompUSA launches loyalty program

Dallas—CompUSA announced Tuesday it will launch a customer loyalty program on Sept. 25 that is designed to appeal to small and midsize businesses.

Called the “CompUSA Network for Business,” the program will reward members for their purchases with points to accrue towards rewards such as notebook computers, iPods and CompUSA gift cards.

“We’ve always had a very strong relationship with SoHo and SMB customers,” said Mark Anderson, director of customer loyalty at CompUSA. “We feel this program takes that understanding of their needs to a whole new level.”

Marketing and ongoing program support—including direct mail, Sunday newspaper inserts and e-mail, as well as database maintenance and analytics—will be handled by Alliance Data Systems, a database marketing company.
