Computer Associates uses interest-based targeting on wsj.com

Published on .

New York--The Wall Street Journal Online announced Wednesday that Computer Associates International is the first software advertiser to use interest-based targeting on wsj.com. Computer Associates is using this advertising technique to reach senior executives and IT purchasers who are Online Journal subscribers. Computer Associates is targeting "technology enthusiasts," subscribers who visit the technology section of Online Journal. With the interest-based targeting, Computer Associates can track relevant advertising impressions not only in the technology section of wsj.com but also in other areas of the site visited by technology enthusiasts.
