Computerized Horizons acquired

Newburyport, Mass.--Computerized Horizons, maker of anti-spam and anti-virus software, has been acquired by a team of business, marketing and technology professionals. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The team is led by entrepreneurs Barry Simpson and Charles Stafanidakis. Simpson, who led Human Capital Software Solutions, Amesbury, Mass., becomes president-CEO of Computerized Horizons. Stafanidakis, previously at CKS Management Advisors, Boston, Mass., becomes COO-CFO of Computerized Horizons.

Employees of Human Capital, which makes CRM software, will become Computerized Horizons employees.
