‘Computerworld,’ ‘CSO’ win ASBPE awards

Philadelphia—The Naperville, Ill.-based American Society of Business Publication Editors announced late last week that Computerworld and CSO, both of which are International Data Group publications, had been named 2004 Magazines of the Year by the society. Computerworld won in the more than-80,000-circulation category; CSO in the less than-80,000 category. The ASBPE also awarded the first Stephen Barr Award, honoring the year’s best feature writing in the business press, to Shanghai-based freelancer Adam Minter for his three-part Scrap magazine series on the scrap industry in China.
