Reston, Va.—The total U.S. Internet audience engaged in more than 5.2 billion video viewing sessions in September, according to data released by comScore. The digital measurement company said that 175 million U.S. Internet users watched online videos last month at an average of 14.4 hours per viewer.
Google Sites, which includes YouTube.com, was the top-ranked online video propert,y with 144.2 million unique viewers. ComScore said that U.S. Internet users viewed more than 4.3 billion video ads in September. Hulu led all sites with 794 million video ad impressions.
