Boston--Technology publisher International Data Group named Pat Kenealy as CEO, succeeding Kelly Conlin. Conlin, who ran IDG for eight years, is leaving to pursue other, unspecified opportunities. Kenealy was head of IDG Ventures, a $560 million venture capital fund financed by IDG. Before that he ran IDG's PC World Communications, including the magazine, Web site and other associated publications.
