Constant Contact adds API integration with small-business software

By Published on .

Waltham, Mass.—Constant Contact, an e-mail marketing company specializing in small-to-midsize clients, has introduced AppConnect, a product to facilitate the integration of the company’s e-mail marketing products with other small-business software applications.

The application programming interfaces (APIs) allow users to access e-mail campaign results and manage contacts and lists without concern for technology compatibility, according to the company.

Also, a new plug-in from Constant Contact allows integration with Sage’s ACT customer relationship management program, allowing for simple transfer of contact lists from ACT into Constant Contact, to more easily build segmented permission-based lists.
