Waltham, Mass.—Constant Contact continues to expand on its original email and newsletter business plan with new event management tools. Its latest addition is a free application that provides event management capabilities from smartphones.
Event Check-In for Constant Contact, available for iPhone and Android mobile devices, allows event managers to access registrant information, mark participants as checked-in and email registrants by tapping an address.
In April, the company integrated Google Checkout,
an online payment processing service, into its event management tool, as well as other modules to augment its event management and trade show capabilities.
