Constant Contact expands social marketing integration

Published on .

Waltham, Mass.—Constant Contact, an e-mail marketing company specializing in small and midsize clients, is rolling out a series of capabilities designed to extend its integration with social media marketing sites.

The company is partnering with Twitter management tool HootSuite, enabling marketers to share Constant Contact e-mail campaigns with one click, individually or all at once.

In addition, Constant Contact has partnered with website building company Yola, to enable Yola customers to add a “join my mailing list” widget to their sites. Also, the company’s NutshellMail service, which rounds up social media posts into periodic e-mail reports, is now integrated with city guide Citysearch, location-based networking service Foursquare and review site Yelp, in addition to its current integration with Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, Twitter and YouTube, the company said.
