Construction Business Media readies debut of 'Architectural SSL'

Chicago—Construction Business Media is about to introduce Architectural SSL, which will target the market for solid-state lighting and LED (light-emitting diode) technology.

The publication, which will debut at LightFair in New York on May 8, will have an initial circulation of 25,000. It will run four times during the next 12 months.

The audience will include architects, lighting designers, building owners, fixture manufacturers, government officials and financial analysts.

"There is skepticism and, frankly, a lack of awareness within the design community of the technology's true potential," said Jim Crockett, editor of Architectural SSL, in a news release. "New products are emerging with increased frequency, and codes and standards are being developed."
