Content Marketing Institute launches new ventures

Cleveland—The Content Marketing Institute debuted two new ventures this week: a consulting practice and a b-to-b book publishing division.

CMI Consulting will help organizations develop original content strategies. Consultants participating in the service include Jason Falls, author of the blog SocialMediaExplorer.com; Jay Baer, co-author of “The NOW Revolution: 7 Shifts to Make Your Business Faster, Smarter, and More Social” (John Wiley & Sons, 2011); and Robert Rose, co-author of “Enterprise 2.0: How Technology, E-Commerce and Web 2.0 Are Transforming Business Virtually” (Praeger Publishing, 2010).

CMO Books will operate as a traditional publisher of printed as well as e-books developed for the Kindle and iPad, but with the purpose of providing a publishing channel for content marketing purposes.
