Published on .

Portland, Maine--I-many Inc., which specializes in managing contracts for health care organizations, said Thursday it has signed a marketing alliance with international management and technology consulting firm Accenture to target the pharmaceutical, consumer goods, chemicals and electronics industries. Accenture, New York, will offer I-many's Contract Administration and Reporting System brand of software as part of its consulting services. Using the Web to create and monitor supplier contracts has become a hot area for corporate adoption, and Wall Street firm Goldman Sachs & Co. has issued a report saying corporations using the technique can save 20% to 50% of the annual cost of maintaining contracts by using the Internet.
