Forrester analyst Emily Riley says that even “un-sexy” industries have a place on Facebook. As she writes in her blog this week, “Health insurance isn't cool, government agencies aren't hip, and medical equipment isn't very social.” However, she adds, “All companies will eventually use social media heavily.” The important thing is to get started.
