San Diego—Search marketing agency Covario Inc. has reorganized its leadership team, with founder and CEO Russ Mann taking the role of chairman and three senior executives succeeding him as joint operating heads of the company. Mike Gullaksen, Jeff Johnson and Claire Long will form a team that will lead the company's operations. Gullaksen and Johnson, previously co-managing directors, will each take the title of co-CEO. Long will retain her current titles of CFO and COO. Covario was ranked earlier this year by BtoB sibling publication Advertising Age as one of the 10 largest U.S. search agencies, and the fastest-growing search company with annual revenue of at least $20 million. In addition to Covario's search marketing agency unit, the company's Rio SEO unit offers software tools for analyzing and automating search marketing tasks. In addition to its San Diego headquarters, Covario has offices in Chicago, Beijing, London, São Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo and Toronto. With clients that include IBM Corp., Intel Corp. and T-Mobile International, the company has raised $21.5 million in venture capital to date.
