Crain appoints DiPonio chief information officer

Detroit—Crain Communications Inc., publisher of BtoB, announced that Anthony DiPonio has been named chief information officer. DiPonio was previously senior VP-information systems at Market Strategies International. In his new role, he will partner with Crain publishers and corporate business leaders to develop and execute a companywide IT strategy in support of Crain's business goals. DiPonio succeeds Paul Dalpiaz, who left Crain last month to become CIO at Portfolio Solutions.
