Crain Communications to launch ‘FinancialWeek’ in 2006

New York—Crain Communications Inc., which publishes BtoB, announced on Monday that it will launch FinancialWeek next year to respond to the growing information needs of corporate finance executives.

Based in Crain’s New York office, FinancialWeek will be distributed to a controlled circulation of 55,000 CEOs, CFOs, treasurers, controllers, secretaries, investor relations directors and others within the upper tier of financial decision-makers at the largest U.S. corporations.

FinancialWeek will kick off with a pilot issue on June 5, and will then publish every other Monday beginning in September. It will increase to weekly distribution in January 2007.

William T. Bisson Jr., publisher of Crain’s Pensions & Investments and InvestmentNews, will be publisher of FinancialWeek.
